• Dokter yang sudah berpengalaman lebih dari 20 tahun di bidangnya.
• Lulusan training dari Royal Marsden Hospital, UK.
• Keahlian khusus pada haematology and oncology.
• Dr Teo Cheng Peng was awarded the Public Service Commission Scholarship by the Singapore government to study medicine at the National University Hospital.
• He graduated in 1984 and completed the postgraduate examination in 1987. Under another scholarship, he received further specialised training in stem cell transplantation at the Royal Marsden Hospital, a leading cancer centre in the UK.
• Upon returning, Dr Teo started the Bone Marrow and Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplant programme at the National University Hospital. In 1995, he was then recruited to develop the Autologous Stem Cell Transplant programme for solid tumours in the department of medical oncology at the Singapore General Hospital.
• After successful implementation of the clinical programme, he continued his career and work in Gleneagles Hospital, with stem cells in the fields of haematology and medical oncology. Dr Teo continued to develop his interest in the field of stem cells and was one of the pioneers in starting an autologous stem cell bank in Singapore.
• Dr Teo is the chairman of Gleneagles Hospital’s Blood Transfusion Committee. He is also a member of the Singapore Society of Haematology, Singapore Bone Marrow Donor Programme, Singapore Society of Oncology, Society of Transplantation (Singapore), International Society of Haematology and Graft Engineering, and the International Society of Haematology.
